MK AUSBAU Innenausbau & Sanierung Interior fit out

Interior fit out | Heinsberg

Rooms that fit the way you live.

MK-AUSBAU brings drywall, insulation, flooring, internal doors and surfaces together into one considered interior. One company from Heinsberg, one point of contact, one finished room.

Drawing of a finished interior Perspective drawing of a room with a partition wall, a suspended ceiling, an insulated wall, a laid floor and a fitted internal door. A figure in the room gives the scale.

What should the room become?

A fit out does not start with a list of trades, it starts with a question. Only once you know what the room has to do does it become clear which layers it needs. A room for working makes different demands on acoustics and light than a bedroom, and that decides the wall, the ceiling and the floor.

01

Living

A room people stay in. Warm surfaces, quiet transitions and a floor that belongs with the rest of the home.

02

Working

Concentration depends on acoustics. Suspended ceilings and insulated wall linings take the reverberation and the noise from the next room out of the space.

03

Rest

Sleeping and retreat need sound insulation inwards. How the wall and ceiling are built up decides what actually reaches the room.

04

Dividing

One large room becomes two usable ones. Drywall partitions change the layout without touching the structure of the building.

05

Utility

Utility room, storage, workshop. Hard wearing surfaces and an easy floor matter more here than any styling.

What is possible in a particular room depends on what is already there: the ceiling height, the existing substrate and the building services. That is settled on site, not in advance over the phone.

02Build up

A room is built in layers.

Interior fit out is not one job, it is a sequence. Each layer sits on the one before it, and every late correction costs more than an early decision. The drawing shows the same room in seven states.

Drawing of an interior under construction Perspective drawing of a room. It shows the drywall partition with its studs, the suspended ceiling with hangers and shadow gap, the opened lining of the left wall with insulation between the studs, the finished floor with skirting, and an internal door in its frame. Every point the drawing makes is also written out beside it.

Select a layer to highlight it in the drawing.

It begins with the room as it stands: bare ceiling, bare walls, bare floor. Height, layout, window positions and the existing services set what is sensible.

Drywall partitions divide the room up again. A lining stands in front of an existing wall and creates the cavity that insulation and services fit into.

A suspended ceiling calms the room and takes up services. The shadow gap at the edge separates it cleanly from the wall instead of butting it up against it.

Insulation goes into the cavity between the studs. It works against heat loss and against sound at the same time, and it cannot be reached again afterwards.

The covering is only the last layer. What decides the result is the substrate underneath: level, sound and dry. Laminate, parquet, vinyl, tiles or carpet come after that.

An internal door sits on the seam between two rooms. The frame, the gap and the junction with the floor decide whether the transition reads as calm or as an afterthought.

Filling, wallpapering, painting or coating. The surface is what remains, and it shows every inaccuracy in the layers below it.

The drawing is schematic and shows a typical build up, not a particular job. Which layers make sense in your room comes out of the site visit.

03Trades

Six trades that interlock.

The services MK-AUSBAU offers are not six separate products, they are six layers of the same room. They are planned in the order in which they are built.

  1. 01 / 06

    Drywall and acoustics

The structure of the room. Partitions change the layout, linings create cavity, suspended ceilings take up services and calm the acoustics.

    • Partitions and wall linings
    • Suspended ceilings
    • Sound insulation and acoustic treatment
    • Fire rated walls
    • Design elements in plasterboard
  2. 02 / 06

    Insulation

The comfort of the room. Insulation works against heat loss and against sound, and it belongs in the same operation as the framing that precedes it.

    • Internal thermal insulation
    • Acoustic insulation
    • Vapour control layers and vapour barriers
    • Insulation in a range of materials
    • Advice on insulation
  3. 03 / 06

    Internal door fitting

The transitions of the room. Doors sit where two rooms meet, and an accurate fit decides both how they work and how they look.

    • Room doors in a range of materials
    • Sliding and folding doors
    • Glass and designer doors
    • Frames and ironmongery
    • Made to measure work
  4. 04 / 06

    Floor coverings

The surface everything stands on. Before the covering comes the preparation of the substrate, because no covering rescues an uneven screed.

    • Laminate and parquet
    • Vinyl and PVC floors
    • Tiles and natural stone
    • Carpet
    • Substrate preparation and screed work
  5. 05 / 06

    Painting and coating

The finish. Filling, wallpapering and painting close the room off and make visible how cleanly the layers underneath were worked.

    • Interior painting of every kind
    • Wallpapering
    • Filling and skim techniques
    • Wood protection and glazes
    • Decorative coatings
  6. 06 / 06

    PU design floors

A seamless floor with a three dimensional appearance, for rooms where the floor is meant to be the element that shapes the space.

    • Epoxy based design floors
    • Individual motif design
    • High gloss sealing
    • Slip resistant surfaces
    • Seamless installation

Not included: electrical, plumbing and heating, structural engineering, windows and external elements, and architecture or planning applications. Where such work belongs to a project, that is discussed before anything is commissioned.

04Change

From bare room to finished interior.

The same room, seven states. Drag the slider to build the fit out up layer by layer. The drawing shows what is added where, and what can no longer be reached afterwards.

06Company

One point of contact for the whole fit out.

MK-AUSBAU coordinates the trades of an interior fit out as principal contractor: drywall, flooring, painting and fitting all run through one place. For you that means less to coordinate, a sequence that works, and one person to ask when something comes up.

A fit out is only finished when the transitions are right.

Qualität und Präzision seit 2016

  • One place for everything

You discuss the project once. Splitting it across the trades happens inside the company afterwards, not on your desk.

  • Sequence instead of rework

Insulation before boarding, substrate before covering, surface last. Keep the order and there is less to open up later.

  • One result, not six invoices

The room is treated and handed over as a whole, not as the sum of separately commissioned jobs.

What is not included

Electrical, plumbing and heating, structural engineering, windows and external elements, and architecture or planning applications are not services of MK-AUSBAU. If a project touches on them, that is said openly before anything is commissioned.

07Process

How a project runs.

Six steps from the first call to handover. Nothing to pay and nothing to commit to before the quotation is with you.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

You describe the project briefly: where it is, what kind of building, and the work you have in mind. A few sentences are enough to start.

  2. 02

    Site visit

The room is looked at in person. Height, substrate, connections and condition cannot be judged from a distance.

  3. 03

    Quotation

After the visit you usually receive a quotation within 3 to 5 working days, listing the items that genuinely apply.

  4. 04

    Planning

Materials are settled and the trades are put into an order, so that no layer is built onto an unfinished one.

  5. 05

    Carrying out the work

The work runs in the planned sequence. Changes are discussed before they are made.

  6. 06

    Handover

The finished room is walked through together. Anything noticed is recorded and put right.

08Kreis Heinsberg

Heinsberg and the district.

The company is based in Heinsberg. Most work is in Kreis Heinsberg and the surrounding area, and for larger projects further afield in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In Kreis Heinsberg

  • Heinsberg
  • Hückelhoven
  • Erkelenz
  • Geilenkirchen
  • Wassenberg
  • Wegberg

And beyond

  • Mönchengladbach
  • Aachen
  • Nordrhein-Westfalen

The towns of the district are listed here as a geographic statement. Whether a particular project can be taken on depends on its scope and timing and is settled when you enquire.

09Questions

Common questions.

What people most often want to know before enquiring.

Mainly Kreis Heinsberg together with Geilenkirchen, Erkelenz and Mönchengladbach. Larger projects are also taken on elsewhere in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Yes. MK-AUSBAU coordinates drywall, flooring, painting and fitting as principal contractor for interior work. You deal with one contact instead of several firms that have to coordinate among themselves.

Usually within 3 to 5 working days of the site visit. Interior work cannot be estimated honestly without seeing it, which is why the visit comes first.

Not necessarily, though it helps. What has to be cleared and what can stay is discussed at the site visit, because it depends on the extent of the work.

No. Those trades are not part of the service. If a project touches on them, it is raised before anything is commissioned so that the sequence still works out.

Yes. A complete fit out is possible, but so is a single partition, one floor covering or a door installation. What makes sense depends on the condition of the room.

Visiting this site

When you open the site, the hosting provider automatically creates server log files from what your browser sends: the address requested, the date and time, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the IP address. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the site and is not combined with other sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in error free operation.

Cookie for the language choice

This site sets exactly one cookie, named site_lang. It stores nothing but the two letter code of the language you chose, so de, en, pl or ru. The next time you open the start address you are taken straight to your language instead of having to choose again.

The cookie contains no identifier by which a person could be recognised, is not passed to third parties and is not used for any analysis. It expires after one year. Because it serves only a function you expressly asked for, it is strictly necessary within the meaning of section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and requires no consent. You can delete it in your browser at any time. No other cookies are set.

Enquiry form

When you submit the form, the details you entered are processed: name, telephone number, optionally email address, your project description and the selection fields for town, type of property, work required and area. The entries from the selection fields are appended to your message.

The enquiry is transmitted to the central application at heinsberg.org and stored there so that it can be handled. A random reference number, which is used to recognise a duplicate submission, and the path of the page the enquiry came from are transmitted as well. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, since the processing serves pre contractual steps, together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for your consent.

The details are deleted once they are no longer needed for handling the enquiry and no statutory retention period applies. You can withdraw a consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

Protection against misuse

The form contains a hidden field that is not visible to people. If it is filled in, the submission is treated as an automated attempt and discarded. In addition, the central application limits the number of submissions per sender. No additional personal data is collected for this.

Recipients

Your details are not sold and not used for advertising. The recipients are the hosting provider of this site and the operator of the central application at heinsberg.org, both as processors. No transfer to a country outside the European Union takes place.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the contact details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for North Rhine-Westphalia the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Encryption

This site is served over HTTPS only. What you enter in the form is therefore protected against being read in transit.

This site should be usable by everyone, whatever the input device or assistive technology. The target is WCAG 2.2 at level AA.

What is in place

The site can be operated entirely from the keyboard, including the menu, the language choice, the gallery, the expanding sections, the slider and the legal notices. The keyboard focus is always visible and is returned to the triggering element when a dialog closes.

The structure uses semantic elements and a consistent heading order with exactly one main heading per page. A skip link goes past the header straight to the content.

Every image carries a descriptive alternative. The room drawing is marked up and described as a graphic, and every point it makes is also written out beside it, so no information exists only in the graphic.

Colour contrasts meet the required values. Colour is never the only carrier of information. Motion is switched off when the operating system asks for reduced motion.

Errors in the enquiry form are collected above the form, in plain language, each with a control that takes you to the field concerned.

Known limitations

The room drawing is primarily a visual explanation. It is described and fully covered by the text, but for very complex questions about building elements it does not replace professional advice.

Feedback

If you come across a barrier, please report it to info@ausbau.nrw or by telephone on +49 (0) 2452 8607038. We will put it right.
